Below are the basic server settings for Excite Email. For more specifics on how to designate new servers on your particular system, please refer to the help pages of your POP3 client.
Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: pop3.excite.com (Port 995 SSL/TLS)
NOTE: POP3 will not maintain your folder structure, nor will it import the emails within them. POP3 will only import emails that are in your inbox. If you move emails from a folder to the inbox, they will be imported the next scheduled time your email client connects to the excite servers.
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: smtp.excite.com (Port 465 SSL/TLS) If Port 465 doesn't work, you please try port 587
IMAP: imap.excite.com (Port 993 SSL/TLS)
NOTE: IMAP WILL maintain your folder structure so all folders and emails within them will be imported if you use IMAP settings. Email clients such as Windows Mail or Thunderbird support IMAP so this would be a good option for those who have a large number of emails sorted in different folders.
Account Name/Login Name: Your Excite Email address (please use your FULL email address)
Email Address: Your Excite Email address (i.e. firstname.lastname@example.org)
Password: Your Excite Email password
For outgoing server, you can also use either imap.excite.com or smtp.excite.com
